Rim a glass with black treacle so it resembles oil.

Pour in 1 measure of pre-frozen Russian vodka (leave it in the freezer for a few hours).

Add 1/2 measure of Cassis, or to taste.

Top up with chilled French sparkling wine (Champagne, Crémant de Limoux, etc) in honour of Sophie Marceau.
