Although Bond quaffs a traditional gin Negroni in the short story ‘Risico’ he never orders a Negroni Sbagliato. His loss.

The short story ‘Risico’ gave the film For Your Eyes Only its villain - Kristatos - who Bond mistakenly believes to be his ally.

'Sbagliato' is Italian for mistake because someone allegedly poured Prosecco instead of gin on top of the Campari and red vermouth. It's probably an apocryphal story because I don't know who could ever view this superb drink as a mistake. And it's so simple to make:

Just stir equal parts Campari, red vermouth and prosecco over ice.
