Madeleine's Ruin

“A man once came to our house to kill my father. He didn't know I was upstairs playing in my bedroom. Or that Papa kept a Beretta Nine-millimeter under the sink with the bleach.”

1 measure of
gin, vodka (Bond)
aquavit (Norway)
and French vermouth (Lea Seydoux)

Shake with large ice. Strain and pour into an ice cold Martini glass.

Sprinkle liberally with Safin's blood (Peychaud's bitters).

Do NOT add bleach.

Hint: if you're struggling to find aquavit, head to IKEA. We had some roaming around in the freezer from years ago and I finally found a use for it!
