Double or Nothing

Inspired by the forthcoming novel from Kim Sherwood, this new cocktail features two kinds of gin. Don’t blame me if you start seeing double.

No spoilers, obviously...

003 measures* of gin liqueur (I used rose blossom with gold flakes because we already had it in the house, but any gin liqueur will do).

004 measures of London Dry(den) gin.

Add generous dashes of your favourite bitters.

Shake vigorously with large ice. Strain.

Top up with 009 measures of English sparkling wine (or whatever you have to hand, e.g. prosecco)

Garnish with 3 strawberries, one for each Double-0.

*Not a standard measure or you will make a drink which is very deadly! Adjust the measures according to the receptacle you plan to use. For a normal sized Martini glass, a measure here will be around 10ml.
